Welcome to Black Unity Bike Ride 2025

This summer, we’re back — and bigger than ever. BUBR 2025 brings you two major rides: our 6th annual Carnival on Bikes in London and our first-ever event in Manchester.

Join the movement that celebrates Black empowerment, active living, and unapologetic joy. Whether you ride every week or haven’t been on a bike in years, BUBR is for everyone. If you believe in unity, empowerment, and love, this is the event for you.

End the ride in style — invite your family and friends to join in the vibes at the finish line at BUBR Fest 2025!

WHY DOES BUBR EXIST?

  • There is under-representation of Black cyclists at all levels of the sport within the public domain, from elite level to grassroots.

  • According to Sport England data, only 27% of U.K. Black communities participate in cycling – which is lower than nearly all other ethnicity groupings. When it comes to all sporting activity, Black communities have the lowest level of participation across all ethnicity groups at 49%.

  • BUBR provides a safe space where cyclists and riders from diverse backgrounds can feel welcomed and also inspired to get active and remain so.
