Join us on Wednesday 6th July at 6.30pm for a virtual discussion about Women Who Cycle Pt2. We want to amplify Black women to encourage them to take up cycling and join us on the road for our main event in August.
We want to uplift Black women by giving them a platform and to ensure they are empowered, seen and heard.
At BUBR our aim is to inspire the Black community to be active and prioritise our health and wellbeing from a 360-degree perspective. This event has a particular focus on women, as we recognise that Black women are often underrepresented in the cycling world and community.
Speakers:
• Alison Wood from Veloqi Cycle Coaching
• Faith Uwadiae from Black Women On Wheels – BWOW
• Kerine Hilton from Together We Ride – TWR
• Elaine Swaby from NoLimit Women Cycling Club
The event will be hosted by Magda Kiros from Black Unity Black Ride Team.
Please note: This event is a space safe for Black women, however we encourage everyone to attend. Both Men and allies are also welcome to join.
